Intro to the book by Renata Przenioslo.

I am one of millions of Freddie Mercury's fans all over the world. My interpretation of Freddie Mercury is based on intuition. It is a subjective attempt to sketch a portrait of a great artist. I am also interested in his music, universal and perfect, his talent and personality. Freddie Mercury was a rock star, a composer, a singer with a unique voice scale, an author of lyrics, and an actor. In all of these life roles there is immense energy, passion and dynamism. His deep involvement, concern about quality, respect for viewers and listeners, can be seen both at his studio recordings and at concerts. It all shapes the unconventional picture of his art. his music which used to bring happiness, inspiration, emotion and feelings, is still alive and listened to. I think it is immortal. Rock'n'roll is not only music. It is also a style of living in which one can find good and safe aspects. Freddie failed to find them. His shocking early death of AIDS inspired me to paint a series of twelve pictures. I think that such a form of commemoration is sure to be understood by all who, just like me, admire the uniqueness of this artist. I am an artist myself and the topic "Man" has always been, and still is, my favourite one. Freddie Mercury was both a genius, a tragedy hero, and an ordinary man. The lyrics of the songs he wrote, already knowing about his incurable disease, are deeply meditative, thoughtful and concerned about the sense of living. They are so human and so significant. In the case of Freddie, who was a controvertial and extravagant person, the lyrics have special importance as they show the artist in a different light. This is how he wanted to be seen, otherwise many songs would not have been written.
My pictures devoted to Freddie Mercury were created out of my inward need, out of my great fascination. I painted them to commemorate and to warm. AIDS is a great danger for the modern world. The early death of the idol, the artist at the top of his career, is a real warning, a memento!
Was it mean to be Freddie Mercury's last mission on the Earth... ?
I want to dedicate this book to all fans of Queen's leader
